Cornwall Goes to War: 1754-2006
Cornwall Historical Society was awarded $1,600 to create an exhibition on their community’s response to and contributions toward American military conflicts from the French and Indian Wars to the current operation in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ancillary programming supporting the exhibition will include a first-person Civil War interpreter performance; a panel discussion cosponsored with the local VFW, a community outreach program, and extended open hours for the Society. The grant supports performer honoraria, exhibit supplies, and printing, and will be matched with staff time, volunteer time, and various in-kind contributions.
