Connecticut
History Online
is the premier site for those interested in exploring
the historical imagery of Connecticut. A joint project
of the Connecticut Historical Society, the Thomas Dodd
Research Center at the University of Connecticut and Mystic
Seaport, the site eventually will offer a searchable database
of over 12,000 Connecticut historical photographs.
The
American
Memory project is part of the Library
of Congress and contains over 7 million digital items
all told. You can find Connecticut related images by clicking
on Search and typing in “Connecticut".
The
Connecticut Historical Society Collections
contains
four digitized collections comprised of Connecticut's
Civil War, Graphics Collection, Costume & Textiles
and Connecticut Visions.
