Also of potential interest to Capitol visitors is Imagining Connecticut, a series of 25 historical photographs and images capturing main themes and defining characteristics of the state produced by the Connecticut Humanities Council. Imagining Connecticut is on display daily from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the walkway connecting the Capitol and the Legislative Office Building.

History On Demand, an interactive video station created by the Connecticut Humanities Council, offers interpretive programs of major themes and personalities in the state's past. The station is located within the An Orderly and Decent Government exhibit.

The State Capitol itself is filled with historical and architectural treasures well worth seeing. The League of Women Voters offers tours for both school groups and adults focusing on the history of the building and the legislative process.
